“MCA-KC Young Professionals Group”

 

THE PURPOSE

The purpose of the “MCA-KC Young Professionals” group is to provide a vehicle for cultivating the future generation of leaders within the mechanical contracting industry.

This group is specifically targeted to those individuals with less than 10 years of experience in the industry and currently employed by contractors who are Signatory to either Local 8 or Local 533, as well as Associate Members of MCA-KC.

 

THE GOAL

The Goal of this initiative is to establish a network among this particular demographic that allows for the exchange of ideas and sharing of information to help enhance their professional development and ultimately provide greater value to the industry and their organizations in both the short and long terms.

 

THE OBJECTIVES

The Objectives of this initiative consist of developing and delivering various opportunities for these individuals to connect, share, and learn – including, but not limited to, the following:

• Lunch & Learn Meetings (with educational/informational speakers/presenters)

• Jobsite Visits to (see specific systems/equipment installed)

• Webinars (for remote education and participant access )

• Social Media Groups (utilizing MCA-KC’s Facebook page)

 

• MCA-KC Student Chapters (Interaction/Involvement/Relationships)
