Stephen Hancock, past President
 Steve Hancock is Vice President-Procurement for US Engineering Company, with 23 years of construction experience. US Engineering Company serves the industrial, commercial, health care, mission critical, and manufacturing markets. US Engineering also has a full line service department. US Engineering is one of the largest specialty contractors in the United States.
Steve has been an Assistant Project Manager, Purchasing Agent/Buyer, Estimator, Marketing Director, Chief Estimator, Estimating Director, and Vice President of Estimating/Business Development and Vice President-Procurement.
Steve became a member of the board of directors of the MCA of Kansas City in 2004 and is currently serving as past president. Steve is chairman of the Advanced Leadership committee and serves on the Plumbers Local 8 Labor Negotiations and Plumbers Local 8 Joint Apprenticeship committees, Plumbers Local 8 Health & Welfare and Plumbers Local 8 Pension Board of Trustees as well as the Labor Management Council.
Steve is a graduate of Rockhurst College with a BSBA in Management. He and his wife Karen are members of the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection and are involved in fundraising for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation Race for the Cure, as well as the many activities of their two children. Steve, Karen and their two daughters reside in Overland Park, Kansas.
