Plumbers program
Plumbers Local 8 is a Craft Union representing members employed in the construction industry. We work on everything from your home to high-rise buildings, schools, hospitals, and factories. We build and maintain large industrial and commercial facilities and residential homes and developments. If its piping work, we do it!
Installation, service, estimation, Computer Aided Drafting (CAD), supervision and management are all provided by Local 8 and our signatory contractors.
At Local 8, our role in the community is more than a job; it's a career which provides benefit to the society in which we live.
Our workforce takes pride in partnering with our signatory contractors to deliver sophisticated piping systems to the end user which are so important to the infrastructure of our community.
We do it right the first time, so when Medical Providers in the Kansas City area build new or expand existing facilities, they call on the skilled members of Local 8. The complicated medical gas installations are a vital piece of life saving equipment, along with equally important core systems such as sanitary sewer, potable water, and natural gas piping. These systems are necessary to support the facilities which ensure public safety and saves lives.
