Matt Wall of Samsung led a Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) Training & Certification Course in Kansas City hosted by NSC Applied Products Group. This Certification Course covered the Samsung DVMS, (VRF) HVAC System, which boasts top-class energy efficiency and operating parameters that exceed the requirements for Midwest HVAC Systems.
Participants included area General Contractors, Union Representatives, Engineers, Medical and University Representatives, and Mechanical Contractors.

A perfect supplement to the Thursday November 7 Kauffman Center Project Overview presented by Steve Hancock of U.S. Engineering to the Kansas State University School of Construction. The MCA-KC hosted an exclusive behind the scenes tour of the newest addition to the Kansas City skyline. This tour allowed access to areas not open to the general public and was led by key individuals who took part in the construction of this monumental project.

The MCAA Student Chapter of Kansas State University welcomed Steve Hancock, Vice President of Project Development in the Midwest Region for US Engineering Company.
A Graduate of Rockhurst University in Kansas City with a BSBA in Business Management as well a Graduate of the Babson School Advanced Leadership Institute in Boston, Massachusetts, he presented a “Project Profile” to the University’s Construction Science and Management Department on the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts which opened to the public in the Fall of 2011.
As a follow-up to this presentation, the MCA-KC will host a behind the scenes tour of the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts on Tuesday November 12.
