Heavy Metal Summer Experience (HMSE) is a five-day camp, July 15- 19 that introduces high school students to careers in plumbing, pipefitting, sheet metal, electrical and building trades. In collaboration with the Local 533, Local 8, and Local 2, and Builders' Training Centers, you'll have the opportunity to explore the world of union trades. You'll get hands on experience using industry tools and equipment while working alongside experienced professionals. By the end of this camp, you'll have new skills and experience as well as an understanding of what it takes to be successful in this industry. APPLY NOW - SPACE IS LIMITED!

This summer camp will give you a chance to explore the different construction speciality trades - pipefitting, plumbing, sheet metal, and electrical. You'll get a chance to work hands-on with the tools, as well as learn more about each of these careers.
