Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day
IGED introduces local high school girls to engineering disciplines and connects them with professional engineers as mentors.

Students participate in an industry and university fair, a engineering discipline fair, a college panel, a keynote session, and a hands-on engineering activity.
Isha Mori-Kassen (U.S. Engineering), Megan Teufel (Johnson Controls), Emily Collier (Johnson Controls), and Pam Nolte (P1 Group) were on hand to field questions from area high school girls at this annual Introduce A Girl to Engineering Day (IGED) event sponsored by the Kansas City Section of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE-KC).
