HAPPY KIT HOLIDAY DRIVE

This holiday season, MCAKC is hosting a Happy Kit Holiday Drive to collect Happy Kits for Children's Mercy Hospitals. 

Help make a child or parent's day brighter by donating Happy Kits! These kits are used throughout the hospital and clinics to welcome and comfort patients and their families during their visits.

What's a Happy Kit? Happy Kits contain a variety of small items that can help put a smile on a child's face - things like coloring books, crayons, small toys, stuffed animals, hygiene items, and more. These kits provide a helpful distraction and bring joy to young patients.

HOW CAN YOU HELP?
Sign up as a Collection Site for Happy Kits. Register your site in our Happy Kit Drive! Establish a donation area at your office, then encourage your staff to contribute items or completed kits. Just make sure all kits are assembled before pickup! 

List of items to included (and what not to include) in your Happy Kits.

We are collecting:

• Pre-K/Kindergarten Happy Kits (Ages 2 - 6)
• School-Aged Happy Kits (Ages 7 - 12)
• Teen & Caregiver Happy Kits (Ages 13 & Up)
• Greeting Card Happy Kits (Filled with items to help patients and make their own cards for others).

We will coordinate pickup or drop-off of assembled Happy Kits the week of December 16.
