MCAA's 2025 Convention set the stage for mechanical industry excellence, and Kansas City delivered in a big way. With 16 awards spanning student achievements, contractor excellence, and athletic competitions, MCAKC proved once again why we are the City of Champions.
From industry leaders to future professionals, our delegation stood out at the Awards of Excellence Breakfast, bringing home some of the convention's most prestigious honors.

Contractor Awards: Leading with Excellence

Our contractors continue to set the standard for safety and leadership in mechanical construction.

  • Distinguished Service AwardTim Moormeirer from U.S. Engineering was honored with MCAA's highest award for his decades of leadership and contributions to the mechanical contracting industry, including his work on MCAA's WebLEM and Labor Estimating Manual.

  • Safety Excellence Award (1,000,001+ hours)P1 Construction, LLC was recognized for its outstanding commitment to job site safety and worker well-being.

The City of Champions

Kansas City showed up and showed out at MCAA25. From student success to contractor excellence and everything in between, MCAKC's impact was felt across the entire convention. With 16 total awards, we proved once again that Kansas City is the City of Champions in the mechanical industry.
