Check out the following incentive programs available to Member Contractors to hire summer interns.

Grant Opportunity #1

MCAA has updated its student internship grant process to focus on the intern. $500 grants will now be offered directly to students who accept internships or full-time positions from MCAA Member Contractors.

Grant Opportunity #2

MCAKC has renewed its program to assist Member Contractors in attracting young talent to our market. Grants will be paid upon verification of an intern's 60th day of employment. Member Contractors are eligible to receive up to (2) $1,000 Grants in 2020.

Grant Opportunity #3

MCAKC & Plumbers Local 8 have to offer a pilot Pre-Apprentice internship designed to provide a commitment free experience of a career in the trades. Grants will be paid upon verification of an intern's 60th day of employment. Member Contractors are eligible to receive (1) $1,000 Grant in 2020. Grants under this program are limited to the first (6) eligible participants.
