MCAKC Month of Giving Campaign for Harvesters - 2020
Thanks to our amazing donors, we were able to donate $53,330 and 2,877 lbs of food to Harvesters which will provide 162,583 meals to support hunger relief in Kansas City. With your support, we sponsored Harvesters largest food drive of 2020!!
The MCAKC Month of Giving campaign concluded in November. We were blown away by the incredible wave of generous donations and support by our local industry. Thanks to all the amazing donors, we surpassed our original goal of $50,000 which would provide 150,000 meals to those in need in Kansas City through the support of Harvesters.With a grand total of $53,330 Harvesters will be able to provide 160,185 meals to support hunger relief in Kansas City. With your support, we sponsored Harvesters largest food drive of 2020!!
Your generous donations will help Harvesters assist thousands of families in this increased time of need across our Kansas City community.
In addition to monetary donations, 10 of our signatory and associate members collected food totaling 2,877 pounds = 2,398 meals.
Our members also volunteered 68 hours at Harvesters Warehouse.
Through our Month of Giving Campaign, we have provided 162,583 Meals for those in need in our Kansas City community!
