The Mechanical Contractors Association of Kansas City (MCAKC) presented a check for a record-setting $42,220 to the Fight Dirty Foundation founders Jeff Tyler, Josh Haddad, and Steve Kraft (pictured left to right). The funds were raised during our annual Charity Golf Outing, held in October at Falcon Ridge Golf Club in Lenexa, KS.
The Fight Dirty Foundation is a local charity based in Lee's Summit founded by one of our contractor members, Jeff Tyler. The organization provides funding to families who have been hit with medical challenges, allowing them to focus on getting healthy and recovering.
The MCAKC Charity Golf Outing is an annual event that brings together members and associate members to raise funds for a local charity. 160 golfers and a dozen volunteers took part in the event raising money through registration fees, sponsorships, and donations.
We are incredibly grateful to our members and associate members who sponsored this event and to our volunteers who helped make it a success. The generosity of our community is truly inspiring, and we couldn't have achieved this record-breaking amount without their support.
We look forward to next year's Charity Golf Outing and bringing awareness to local charities in the Kansas City area. Together, we are making a difference in the lives of families in our community.
