Microsoft Teams Getting Started Get your team on board to effectively use Cloud Services available in Office 365 Teams.  We’ll help you with hands-on examples to effectively communicate in a dedicated workspace with group chat, meetings, phone calls and conferencing.  Use your traditional applications like Word and Excel for your team source documents. See how to create a team across organizations regardless of where you are located.  Learn how to hold a web conference and share content. Take this opportunity to discover what you need to utilize and implement when you return to your office.  

Course materials included in course fee.  Have your Office 365 log-in to work through class exercise.

Cancelation and Transfer Policy:
Cancellations for all MCAKC events must be received at least 2 Business Days prior to the event by email to jconn@mcakc.org or by phone at 913-948-9200. Cancellations received after this time will be assessed a $100 cancellation fee.

No Shows” will be assessed a fee (see below) and invoiced accordingly.

$100 Event Duration: Over 4 Hours (Should the event cover more than one day, this fee will apply for each day of event) 

Transfer Policy
Registrants in JCCC continuing education courses may transfer their registration to another course. The transfer request must be received in writing two (2) business days prior to the first day of the course for which you were originally scheduled. A $50 transfer charge will be applied to all transfers received less than two (2) days prior to the start date of the course.

Learning Objectives

At the end of this seminar, you will be able to:

  1. Outline the components of pre-planning and explain its importance to project performance and success.
  2. Demonstrate how to build a productivity plan from the project estimate.
  3. Establish project performance goals and milestone measurement criteria.
  4. Identify strategies to enhance project profitability during the pre-construction phase.
  5. Discuss the critical components to closing out projects successfully.

Instructor
Chris Champagne has been employed with the P1 Group Inc. for the last 20 years. During his tenure, he has advanced from estimator to project manager to his current position of operations manager where he oversees project management staff, manages the sheet metal fabrication process and evaluates mechanical and plumbing estimates before submission. Champagne is a licensed professional engineer in the state of Kansas and holds a LEED certification. He is active in the Kansas City chapter of the Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors National Association and the Design-Build Institute of America.
