Community Service

Christmas in October

Each year, the MCAKC Young Professionals Committee coordinates our volunteer project as we partner with "Christmas in October" for a day of community service. Our volunteers paint exterior of homes, do yard work, and outdoor home repairs.

Month of Giving Campaign for Harvesters

During COVID, MCAKC volunteers participated in our Month of Giving Campaign where they donated food, their time, and money to Harvesters. With our members' support, we donated $53,330 to Harvesters and provided 160,185 meals to support hunger relief in Kansas City. In addition to monitary donations, 10 of our signatory and associate members collected 2,877 lbs of food and volunteered 68 hours at Harvesters' Warehouse.
