WEDNESDAY, September 13 (8:00 AM - Noon) 

Join us for our interactive workshop “Project Interviews - Preparation is Separation” mastering project interviews for construction contracts and learn how to increase your chances of getting a signed contract. 

In this seminar, you will learn that competing on price alone is not enough to score big on project interviews. Troy will guide you through the process of understanding the criteria clients us to evaluate project teams and how you can effectively communicate your company’s unique skills and assets to help the owner achieve their project goals. With specific presentation strategies and tips, you will leave equipped to enhance your chances of success in your next project interview. By the end of this workshop, you will be able to
  1. Classify your customers BEFORE the interview using a relationship matrix
  2. Conduct an effective interview preparation meeting to establish your company’s Key Overriding Message (KOM) into your presentation
  3. Identify common interview pitfalls and how to avoid them
  4. Participate in a mock presentation with Q&A to practice the techniques learned in class

Instructor
Troy Aichele has a B.S. in Construction Management, an A.A.S in HVAC and Refrigeration Design, and has worked in nearly every facet of commercial construction as a Mechanical Contractor for nearly 30 years.  Through Aichele & Associates, LLC, he teaches national workshops focusing on project management, managing and forecasting labor, estimating, change orders, blueprint reading, and how to perform water audits.  He’s also a former MCAA Career Development Committee Chairman and was an adjunct professor at the University of Washington for 17 years.

Cancelations for all MCAKC events must be received at least 2 Business Days prior to the event by email to learn@mcakc.org or by phone at 913-948-9200. Cancelations received after this time will be assessed a $100 cancelation fee.

“No Shows” will be assessed a fee (see below) and invoiced accordingly.
