Billings & Cash Flow: How to Get Paid!

TUESDAY, October 10 (8:00 AM - Noon)

In this seminar, attendees will gain valuable insights into the crucial role of billing and cash flow in the construction industry. As the saying goes, "Cash is King," and project managers must understand how to effectively manage the cash flow process to benefit their companies. The workshop will cover the fundamentals of billings and cash flow, including the importance of including all projected costs, managing when major costs hit the job, and billing on time. Participants will also learn about strategies for building a front-loaded Schedule of Values (SOV), the differences between over/under-billing and over/under-cashed, and how to avoid common reasons owners and general contractors may withhold money from progress payments.

By the end of the workshop, attendees will have a deeper understanding of the nuances of billing and cash flow management and be better equipped to navigate this critical aspect of the construction industry.
