Tax Strategies – What Your CPA Might be Missing

There are a number of tax strategies available to contractors that are frequently overlooked by their CPA’s. The R&E Tax Credit, Cost Segregation Studies and Change in Accounting Method are three that we find frequently. These tax strategies can be worth significant amounts of money both in real terms and in terms of cash flow. We will discuss each of these strategies, how they work, who qualifies, and what the benefit might be in a variety of different scenarios. With limited work available in the market, some firms are finding these tax strategies key to their survival.

Learning Objectives:

  • Evaluate your current situation to see if further exploration of these tax strategies makes sense
