2026 Kansas City Night

Celebrate the strength and success of Kansas City’s mechanical contracting community at our annual party in the stunning Midland Theatre. This special evening is a chance to come together with colleagues, friends, and guests to honor the progress our industry has made over the past year.

Enjoy a plated dinner, entertainment, and a relaxed after party upstairs to end the night. Every MCAKC member is invited to bring one guest, making it a perfect date night or a team night out.

By reserving a table, you’ll also support The Golden Scoop, our charity partner that creates meaningful opportunities for people with developmental disabilities. Join us for an evening of celebration, connection, and impact. We can’t wait to see you there!

Get ready for an unforgettable night that brings Kansas City’s energy to the stage. Emmy Award–winning Royals broadcaster Joel Goldberg will share stories from the clubhouse and beyond in Winning Trust: The New Rules for Home Run Relationships in Any Field. Through real moments with baseball’s biggest names, Joel reveals how small, consistent acts of trust can turn good relationships into great ones. His fast-paced, story-driven, signature address will have you laughing, reflecting, and walking away with practical ways to strengthen your connections at work and beyond.

While Joel speaks, Kansas City sports artist Anthony “AO” Oropeza will transform a blank canvas into a KC-themed masterpiece live on stage. Known for his bold color, grit, and blue-collar style, AO’s work captures the heart of our city and the determination that drives our industry. You’ll get to watch his creative process unfold in real time: a perfect pairing of art, inspiration, and hometown pride.

You may purchase a reserved table for $250. Each table seats up to 8 people, and all proceeds benefit our local charity partner, The Golden Scoop. Please note that reserving a table does not automatically register 8 attendees. To secure your table for 8, all individuals must also be registered for the event.

Attendance Policy:
"No Shows" for this event will be assessed a $100 No Show fee (per person).  If you have registered for this event and will be unable to attend, please contact MCAKC at 913-948-9200.
