Families First COVID-19 Response Act: What Employers Need to Know

Webinar

Effective April 1 through the end of the year, The Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) has been signed into law. It provides much needed COVID-19 emergency relief — and it affects your company if it employs fewer than 500.

Do you know who qualifies for paid leave and what your new obligations entail? Employers who don’t adhere to the new law can face stiff penalties, so it’s critical you understand exactly how it impacts your company. The Families First COVID-19 Response Act: What Employers Need to Know, our newest 1-hour premium webcast, provides the facts you need to know about emergency paid sick leave, temporary FMLA expansion — plus the financial impact and the administrative burden the new law could create for your company.

Register today and listen in as HR and legal expert Max Muller explains:
  • The Emergency FMLA Expansion Act and how it differs from regular FMLA
  • The new definition of “family member” and who it now extends to
  • Emergency paid sick leave: eligibility, pay rates and pay rate caps
  • Concurrent leave coverage — how do the new provisions apply to your employees
  • Job protection under the new law — employer obligations and important exceptions
  • Unemployment insurance benefits and what employers must provide
  • Employer Notice Requirements under the FFCRA, and the kind of notice employees may be required to give you
Cost: FREE to employees of Signatory Contractors and Associate Members.
