In recognition of National Suicide Prevention Week, we are featuring this critical training to promote mental health awareness and support in the construction industry.
Join us for a vital presentation tailored specifically for professionals in the construction industry, focusing on mental wellbeing and its practical impact on the job site. This presentation is crucial for construction professionals aiming to foster a supportive, mindful, and safe workplace.
This training session delves deep into the complexities of mental health, equipping participants with mindful awareness, essential knowledge, and practical tools to effectively respond to mental health challenges. Participants will gain an understanding of how common mental health conditions affect people at work and strategies for meaningful support.
This seminar is part of a comprehensive four-part series Building a Mental Health Toolbox designed specifically for construction industry professionals. This program focuses on enhancing mental wellbeing and its practical application in the workplace. Offered quarterly, each 1.5 hour seminar can be taken independently, providing valuable insights and actionable skills.

Instructor
Robin Todd received her B.A. in Psychology and certification in Elementary Education, from Western State College in Gunnison, Colorado. In 1990 she began her career as an educator, working with children and adults in a variety of settings. While attending graduate school, Robin found her passion for mindfulness. She spent two years working with the Mindfulness Research Lab on the campus of Avila University mastering a curriculum that embodies positive psychology and neuroscience. After receiving her M.S. in Psychology from Avila she completed her certification as a Live Mindful Instructor and launched her business, Mindful Momentum in 2014. Since then, Mindful Momentum has empowered and inspired thousands of individuals across a wide range of organizations and industries to become more effective, efficient, productive and healthy in both their personal and professional lives by utilizing simple, easy, mindful practices.

Cancellations for all MCAKC events must be received prior to the event by email to learn@mcakc.org or by phone at 913-948-9200. Cancellations received after this time will be assessed a $100 cancellation fee.
“No Shows” will be assessed a fee (see below) and invoiced accordingly.
