OSHA 30 HR. Construction
Through classroom learning and assessment, students in this course will: understand the purpose of emergency planning, basic electrical safety, understand risks and abatement of falls, caught-in or between, struck-by and electrocution hazards and more.  

Learning Objectives:
  1. Understand worker’s rights under OSHA and employer responsibility
  2. Discuss use of OSHA standards
  3. Understand how OSHA inspections are conducted
  4. Understand how to determine and use exit routes
  5. Construction industry health hazards
  6. Use of PPE properly
  7. Understand proper use of fall arrest systems
  8. Preventing ladder falls and scaffold safety
  9. Understand the accident investigation process
  10. Requirements of confined space

This class is weekly each Thursday & Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, September 9 - 27, 2019 (4 classes).

Cost: $550 for employees of Signatory Members, Associate Members, Signatory Non-Members, and Allied Associations.

Cancelation and Transfer Policy:
Cancellations for all MCAKC events must be received at least 2 Business Days prior to the event by email to jconn@mcakc.org or by phone at 913-948-9200. Cancellations received after this time will be assessed a $100 cancellation fee.

No Shows” will be assessed a fee (see below) and invoiced accordingly.

$50 Event Duration: Up to 4 Hours
$100 Event Duration: Over 4 Hours (Should the event cover more than one day, this fee will apply for each day of event) 

Transfer Policy
Registrants in JCCC continuing education courses may transfer their registration to another course. The transfer request must be received in writing two (2) business days prior to the first day of the course for which you were originally scheduled. A $50 transfer charge will be applied to all transfers received less than two (2) days prior to the start date of the course.
