LiFT: Project Management
About
LiFT is designed to teach critical skills Project Managers need to be successful in the management of projects and in the cultivation of business relationships.
This program is designed to introduce and enhance a wide variety of technical and leadership skills needed to succeed in today’s fast-paced, high-demand mechanical construction environment.
LiFT provides local, quality training that is relevant to both our industry and marketplace. In this highly interactive and engaging program, participants are led by other industry professionals.
To successfully complete a level, participants must attend at least nine (9) of the ten (10) seminars in the program.
Goals
Connect with local project management professionals in the mechanical contracting industry.
- Receive a robust participant guide with tools, job aids, resources, and templates to use back on the job.
- Gain the tools and skills necessary to take an active role in the company’s future and success.
- Become a better leader with an action plan designed to improve your project management success.
Levels
LiFT is a two (2) level program, each level includes ten (10) seminars and is limited to 20 participants. This limited group dynamic works well in creating a collaborative environment for program participants.
LiFT Level 1: 0 – 2 years of experience.
LiFT Level 2: 3 – 7 years of experience.

Tuition
- $1,000.00 Signatory Contractors ($500.00 Member reimbursement upon successful completion*)
- $1,500.00 Associate Members**
- $2,000.00 Allied Organizations**
*Successful completion of this program is defined as missing no more than one seminar in the educational series.
**Associate members and Allied Organizations are not eligible to receive the $500 tuition refund.
MCAKC Education Reimbursement Certificates may be used in lieu of payment. Tuition paid using these certificates are not eligible to receive the indicated reimbursement amount.
